Human Resources Assistant

Description

Responsibility:

This position is part of a team responsible for assisting the HR Manager to increase productivity and well-being of employees by assisting with the administration and coordination of different employee and labor relations activities and by ensuring compliance to HR policies and procedures, rules and regulations. This position also assists with the coordination of all employee activities for the company, and for inputting employee and applicant data in the HR software.

If you are dynamic and responsible person with the following qualifications:

  • Minimum Associate or Bachelor's Degree in Tourism and Hospitality Management or equivalent
  • Fluent in English, Dutch, Spanish and Papiamento 
  • Advanced computer skills
  • Excellent people, human relations, problem solving and communication skills 
  • Service minded, positive attitude, team player and flexible 
  • Can work independently, highly organized and neat
  • Knowledge of Aruban Labor Law and experience in the Tourism Industry are a plus
