-Do you provide transportation from the airport to all the hotels in Aruba?
Yes we do provide transportation to all the major high rise and low rise hotels in Aruba.
-How often do the buses run?
Our buses meet every arriving flight at the airport. We also provide transportation from every hotel to the airport for every departing flight.
-How do I confirm my return transfer from the hotel back to the airport?
Visit one of our Sales Agents to reconfirm your return transfer. Upon arrival our Representative at the airport will hand you a return ticket with simple-to-follow instructions on how to reconfirm your transportation back to the airport.
-I will be staying at two different hotels during my stay in Aruba. Is there a difference in the price?
Our price from the airport to all hotels is the same, so there is no difference in the price.
-Do I have to pre-book transportation prior to arriving in Aruba?
Yes, all bus transportation from the airport to hotels must be pre-reserved and prepaid prior to arriving in Aruba. Click on the BOOK NOW button to book yours. Options: bus transfer, express transfer or private transfer.
-How long in advance do I need to reserve and pay for transportation prior to arriving in Aruba?
At least 1 day prior to your arrival for online bookings.
-Do you offer private transfers from the airport to the hotels?
Yes we offer round-trip transfers from the airport to all hotels in private vehicles. This service includes meet and greet at the airport upon arrival. The vehicle will be exclusively yours during the transfer. If you wish to book this, please contact us.
-How long is the bus ride from the airport to the hotel?
Usually it takes anywhere between 20 minutes to 40 minutes depending on which hotel you are staying at.
-Are your buses modern and air-conditioned?
Yes our buses are Volvo buses and fully air-conditioned
-How early do we need to be at airport on day of departure?
3 hours prior to departure time as mandated by the airlines.
-What types of tours does De Palm offer?
Two different Island Sightseeing Tours, two different Jeep Safaris, two different Sail and Snorkel Cruises, Sunset Sailing and a Dinner Cruise, and half and full day packages to Aruba’s number 1 attraction “De Palm Island”. Information about all the aforementioned tours is on our website and can be pre-reserved.
-Can I book your tours at my hotel?
Yes, our tours can be booked at your hotel by either going to the guest services/concierges desk or a De Palm Tours activities desks located in the lobbies of the hotels in Aruba.
-Do you accept all credit cards?
Yes we accept all major credit cards (with the exception of Diners), debit cards, travelers’ checks and US dollars as payment.
-Do you provide transportation from the hotels for all your tours?
Yes we provide pick-up and drop off from/to your hotel for all the tours we own and operate. Tours that depart from our pier on Palm Beach are within walking distance from most major high-rise hotels and in this case transportation is not necessary.
-How long in advance should I book your jeep tours?
Our jeep tours are popular and tend to fill up fast especially during the busy months from January to April and July to October. We suggest either booking your tour on-line by clicking on the “Book Now” button or shortly after arriving in Aruba booking your tour at your concierges or activities desk in the lobby of your hotel.
-How long is your Jeep Tour?
We offer two different types of jeep tours. Both are half day in length and range from 3 ½ hours to 4 ½ hours.
-What’s the difference between what you see or where you go on a bus sightseeing tour compared to a jeep tour?
Some of the stops are different and off-road in nature on our jeep tours compared to our bus tours. Because of the nature of the different vehicles, our buses are air-conditioned and more comfortable than our jeeps. Our jeep tours appeal to the more adventurous whereas our bus tour is more appealing to those who seek comfort. Both options provide you with a wonderful overview of Aruba.
-What side of the road do you drive on in Aruba?
On Aruba we drive on the same side as you do in the USA, on the right hand side.
-What are the roads likes to drive on the jeep tour?
The off-road section leading to, and departing from, the Natural Pool on The Natural Pool Jeep Tour is bumpy and requires you to drive very carefully. This section is approx. one mile each way. The roads on the Baby Beach Jeep Tour are much easier to drive on and the tour is best described as a soft adventure.
-I don't have an Aruban license to drive?
A valid driver’s license from country of residence is acceptable.
-What is included and what is not included in the De Palm Island packages?
You can purchase a half day or full day package to de Palm Island. The following is included in all packages: round-trip transportation from your hotel, all you can eat buffet, unlimited snacks, zipline, air-jumpers, banana boat rides, water park access, unlimited beverages, snorkel equipment, snorkel tours, salsa lessons and beach chairs. The following is charged separately: Sea Trek Underwater Helmet Walk, SNUBA , Power Snorkel and any items purchased from the gift shop.
-If I have my own transportation, can I go to De Palm Island on my own?
Yes you can. Many guests go by rental car. There is plenty of parking (free) and you can purchase your package at the ticket booth on the mainland. A 5 minute ferry boat ride from the mainland to De Palm Island is included in all packages
-What are the opening and closing times of De Palm Island?
De Palm Island is open from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm.
-Is De Palm Island open every day?
Yes De Palm Island operates 5 days a week, Sunday to Thursday with the same operating hours (see previous question).
-Is the water park for children only or for adults too?
No, the water park is ideal for all ages. Children under 6 years old must be accompanied by an adult.
-How deep is the water for snorkeling at De Palm Island?
Snorkeling at De Palm Island ranges from waist deep to approximately 15 feet in depth.
-Is snorkel instruction provided at De Palm Island?
Yes a free snorkel tour is conducted twice daily; the first tour goes out at 10 am and the second at 2 pm. A guide goes with every tour and provides instruction and safety vests.
-How far is De Palm Island from the hotels?
Approximately a 25 minute drive from the hotel area in your own vehicle or approximate 40 minute by bus.
-Is De Palm Island easy to find if I go there on my own?
Yes, it is on the main road heading south from the hotel and downtown area. Approximately two miles past the airport follow the signs to De Palm Island.
-Is De Palm Island geared more for kids or adults?
No, De Palm Island is an all-inclusive island offering something for everyone. Couples or friends without children can enjoy snorkeling, relaxing on the beach, the open bar and buffet, Sea Trek, SNUBA, Power Snorkel, unlimited banana boat rides, the daily salsa lesson and beach activities like beach volley. The water park is also open for adults. Approximately 20% of the visitors are under the age of 12 years and most in this age group come during the school vacations.
-Do you have beaches at De Palm Island?
Yes we have three separate beaches on the island. Beach chairs and palapas (shaded areas) are available on the beaches and included in your package.
-Is there shade other than at the beach area?
Yes, there's plenty of shade at the bar, restaurant and by the water park.
-Do locals come to De Palm Island?
Yes, De Palm Island is popular with locals particularly on the weekends. Vacationers tend to come during the weekdays.
-Can you do Sea Trek or Snuba if you have a medical condition?
A doctor's letter is required in order to participate if you have one of the following conditions: recent surgery, high blood pressure, epilepsy, seizures, asthma or if you are pregnant.
-I purchased an USB with pictures from one of the underwater activities I joined, but it doesn't work.
If you're unable to open the files on the USB you purchased, please contact us with your name, contact information and the date and time of the activity you joined.
-What is the difference between the morning snorkel tour and the afternoon snorkel tour on Palm Pleasure?
The morning snorkel adventure is 4 hours in length and includes a buffet lunch, open bar and includes 3 snorkel stops. The Afternoon Delight tour is 3 hours and includes sandwiches, open bar and 2 snorkel stops. Both tours include snorkel stops at the Antilla wreck.
-Where do I have to go to board the vessel?
Palm Pleasure departs from De Palm Pier located on Palm Beach in between the Radisson and Riu hotels. De Palm Pier is within a short walking distance from the following resorts: The Holiday Inn, Playa Linda, Hyatt, Occidental, Radisson, Riu, Westin, The Mill and The Divi Phoenix. Transportation is provided to De Palm Pier from all other resorts.
-Do you provide transportation for your tours?
Yes we provide round-trip transportation from most hotels for most of our tours. Transportation is not provided for Atlantis Submarines or for guests joining Palm Pleasure sailing trips and staying a short walking distance from the De Palm Pier.
-Do you offer senior citizens rates?
No we do not.
-Do you offer child rates?
Yes we offer special child rates for most of our tours. Generally our child rate is 25% off the adult rate.
